Police name six teens killed in Ohio SUV crash - CBS News

Six teenagers died when their SUV crashed and rolled over on Warren, Ohio, street Sunday morning, CBS affiliate WKBN reports.

The Honda Passport veered off the left side of a road, hit a guardrail and overturned just south of the city of Warren, about 60 miles east of Cleveland near the Pennsylvania state line, Lt. Anne Ralston said. Investigators say it came to rest in the swamp and sank with five of the victims trapped inside. A sixth who was thrown from the SUV during the crash was found under it when the vehicle was taken out of the water.

Ralston didn't know where the teens were headed. She didn't have any information to release on possible causes of or factors in the crash, but the highway patrol planned a news conference for Sunday night. Earlier, police said the car appeared to be overcrowded and no one was wearing seatbelts.

Two survivors were able to escape the crash and went to a nearby residence to call 911.

The teenagers who died are: Alexis Cayson, 19; Andrique Bennett, 14; Kirklan M. Behner, 15; Daylan Ray, 15; Brandon A. Murray, 17; and Ramone M. White, 15.

Brian K. Henry, 18, and Asher C. Lewis, 15, were being treated at the St. Joseph Health Center and Trumbell Memorial. All the teens are from Warren.

Ashia Cayson said she learned of her sister's death Sunday morning, when she had just been think of her.

"She was loving. She was silly, and she was a clown," Ashia said, according to WKBN. "She like to make everybody laugh even when we were sad. I just want everybody to know that if you are going through something, pick up the phone and call your siblings, your family and tell them you love them. You never know what can happen. Tomorrow is not promised to anybody."
